About us

We are not starting from scratch

Hamakija is a young brand, but not a brand without history. Behind its name lies experience gained since 2010, travels to Mexico, and thousands of conversations with customers.

Who we are

Hamakija was born out of friendship

Since 2010, he has been helping Poles discover the comfort of a hammock. He speaks Spanish, learned the craft in the Yucatán, and has tried weaving a hammock himself on a wooden loom. Hundreds of installations in homes, on balconies, and in gardens.

What does not change

We don't want to have everything. Just the things that truly provide a sense of nature and quality.

  • Love for Mexico

The culture and craftsmanship of the Yucatan, experienced firsthand.

  • Handmade

    Woven on wooden looms.

  • Honest advice

Sometimes we will fly a smaller model.

  • Hammock for years

Only what we would hang in our own home.

Handicrafts from Yucatan

From a ball of thread to a hammock takes a few days

There are no machines here. There is a wooden loom, patience, and a skill passed down from generation to generation.

We will suggest which model, size, and mounting method will work best for you.
